Cryptography – A secret science

I came across an interesting article on Slashdot about a challenge the FBI has issued relating to cracking a code.  The study of this type of excercise is called crytography.  This is something I remember being highly interested in while in middle school and early high school.  Studying this develops some great logic skills and is a great time killer on long road trips.  Here is a link to a pretty good tutorial site that has some examples and such.  So if you’re bored try this one.
